Furat the Barber
Over the last 30 years, despite having fled the war-torn countries of Iraq and Syria, Furat Mohammed has remained committed to practicing his craft as a barber, and more importantly, to supporting his family. Now located in the city of Rochester, NY, Furat navigates a new culture and overcomes a language barrier while starting a new business.
