Eventually they tried Intra-uterine insemination \u2013 IUI \u2013 and the third attempt proved to be the charm \u2013 in a very big way. On March 12, 2012 Courtney gave birth to quadruplets; Ashlyn, Brody, Cooper, and Kylie. Mary, 9, and her sister Kiera, 4, both have Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita, a rare neuromuscular disease that bends the body’s joints at birth. The disease prevents the girls from speaking, walking, breathing and eating on their own. The only way to correct these issues is through serial casting, which forces the disrupted bone structure back into a normal state. Growing up, Chaney’s family adopted a young girl who was also diagnosed with AMC. To take care of her two daughters, Chaney quit her job in order to be a full-time mother.\n\nChaney carries Mary playfully through their home on Oct. 19, 2014 on Lincoln St. in East Rochester, N.Y. In the wintertime, it is hard for Chaney to take her daughters outside. For fun, Chaney likes to carry Mary around the house and tell her she is flying.\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t![\"\"](\"https:\/\/pj.rit.edu\/nppa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/201570_por-21-150x150.jpg\")

They resettled in America with hopes of finding peace in their permanent new home. “When you are starting a new life, everything is difficult,” said Muhire Munyarugero, the family’s patriarch. “You have to be able to stand for it. If I have been able to stand for my life in insecurity, it is easier to stand for my life when I have stability. They resettled in America with hopes of finding peace in their permanent new home. “When you are starting a new life, everything is difficult,” said Muhire Munyarugero, the family’s patriarch. “You have to be able to stand for it. If I have been able to stand for my life in insecurity, it is easier to stand for my life when I have stability. Mary, 9, and her sister Kiera, 4, both have Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita, a rare neuromuscular disease that bends the body’s joints at birth. The disease prevents the girls from speaking, walking, breathing and eating on their own. The only way to correct these issues is through serial casting, which forces the disrupted bone structure back into a normal state. Growing up, Chaney’s family adopted a young girl who was also diagnosed with AMC. To take care of her two daughters, Chaney quit her job in order to be a full-time mother.\n\nChaney carries Mary playfully through their home on Oct. 19, 2014 on Lincoln St. in East Rochester, N.Y. In the wintertime, it is hard for Chaney to take her daughters outside.
