In November 2014, at 57-years-old, Wayne Lamicela was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and signs of early-onset Alzheimer’s. Having only met his wife Jean Lamicela twelve years ago Jean is trying to find ways to be able to take on the role of caretaker but also enjoy the love they have for each other. Through the medium of video, this project is an attempt to document the real consequences of dementia and how love tries to overcome adversity.
