When she works as a clown, Donna goes by the alias “Spring-A-Doodle” and is part of the Grease Paint Alley Clowns, a group made up mostly of women in their late 60s and 70s. Donna’s day job is to work as a caretaker for Amiel Mokhiber Sr., who is in the late stages of Alzheimer’s Disease.

In November 2014, at 57-years-old, Wayne Lamicela was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and signs of early-onset Alzheimer’s. Having only met his wife Jean Lamicela twelve years ago Jean is trying to find ways to be able to take on the role of caretaker but also enjoy the love they have for each other.
