John from The Community Justice Initiative leads a protest in Rochester, NY on March 23, 2021, dubbed “Daniel’s Day”, due to it being the one year anniversary of Daniel Prude’s death, a black man killed by cops from the Rochester Police Department. The protest stopped in front of the Regional Transit Service Transit Center and blocked buses from leaving the bus stop, yelling “buses should be free”, due to the money going to the city of Rochester which has done little for the poorer community who frequent the city’s public transportation.
