Cave diver Manuel Allende swims into the cavern of Casa Cenote in Tulum, Mexico on August 18th 2015. The underwater cavern and cave are located in a lagoon so divers must make their way through the mangroves before reaching the site.
Second Place: Santiago Zurbias
BALTIMORE, MD – 06/29/15 – Taylor Runion, 10, left, and Amaurie Davidson, cq, 13, right, both blind, hold on to each other’s shoulders while learning how to perform Judo moves at Camp Abilities, hosted at the Maryland School for the Blind. Camp Abilities is an overnight sports and recreation camp for children and youth with visual impairments between the ages of 9 and 17.

Isabel (Lucy) Hernández, says goodbye to her son-in-law as she leaves to take her sister to the airport on July 20, 2015 in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. Isabel has been an Alzheimer’s disease patient for 8 years, and has lived with her daughter and her family, who take care of her, for the past 6 years.
