From dogs and cats to snakes, goats, and pigs, Meyer has been able to find a home for every animal brought to her attention. And she’s never given up on an animal because it’s old or sick or has been abused.

UNTITLED – Seth Faergolzia, Rochester musician, and an artist has a unique approach to art-making. He sees music visually and wants to share that with his followers. He describes himself as energetic, weird, and unusual and likes to surprise people with his work. One of his latest projects includes looping sounds, creating a choir out of just his voice, whilst painting his reaction to the music he is creating. His energy is contagious, and approach to his art is definitely worth seeing. Understanding different lifestyles and approaches led me to this character besides just the pure curiosity of his work. Encouraging diversity, art, and music as well as supporting local artists and musicians.

Honorable Mention: Joseph Ressler

MY BROTHER BLAKE – As a twin, it is hard to find your individual identity, but for my twin brother Blake, it is even harder. I document his journey through mental illness, drug addiction, and gender transition in one tumultuous year.
